Building Safety Regulator
The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) was established to oversee the safety of buildings, particularly in the wake of the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Operating as part of the Health and Safety Executive , the BSR plays a critical role in ensuring building safety standards and regulations are adhered to throughout the design, construction, and operation of buildings. Its responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of the Building Safety Act, enforcing safety rules for high-rise residential buildings, and ensuring the competence of professionals working in building safety roles.
The Building Safety Regulator ensures that all building work meets rigorous safety standards. Injectaclad is designed to meet the requirements of building safety regulations and fire safety standards, particularly for buildings that are subject to higher-risk safety assessments (such as those over 18 meters tall). The team at Injectaclad have been involved with many designers, developers and other stakeholders in preparing a suite of documents and details as part of Gateway 2 applications.
