Injectaclad Inspection & Reporting

A significant element of the Injectaclad system is the inspection, reporting and audit trail of each installation.  QA Approved Installers inspect and report on every section of remediation, using an industry standard reporting system.

Every opening point is given a reference and is shown on an interactive elevation drawing, which is shared with key stakeholders.   When the reference point is expanded this provides full details of the installation at that location, including the clear cavity width and length of installation.

Photographic records are taken at each stage of he install, from InjectaPins being located to maintain the compartmentation line, InjectaMesh being installed and ultimately Injectaclad SS17 having been pumped to remediate the missing or defective cavity fire barrier.  A borescope is then used to video each section of installation to ensure that the reporting is fully robust.

Injectaclad carry out a minimum of two inspection audits on each of the approved installation companies to ensure compliance with training and best practice, whilst the approved QA Contractors provide their own third party accreditation on the installation for every scheme.

Injectaclad is the world’s first remediation system for missing and/or defective cavity fire barriers to be retrospectively installed using a pumped system, alleviating the need for full scale façade removal.

By not removing the external façade coupled with the speed of installation, often undertaken via MEWPs rather than requiring full scaffolding, Injectaclad is a cost effective and non-invasive option to a significant problem on high rise buildings and other housing stock across the UK and further afield.
