Traditional Construction
Injectaclad can be installed within traditionally constructed buildings to remediate missing and/or defective cavity fire barriers.
Installed within the clear cavity void, Injectaclad can be introduced into gap sizes up to 200mm wide.
Within traditionally constructed buildings Injectaclad can be installed horizontally, vertically and around openings such as windows and doors.
It is designed and tested to work with existing insulation left within the cavity, alleviating the need to remove the façade in its entirety.
Horizontal Installation
Generally, the Injectaclad installation would be in line with an existing floor slab, to create compartmentation along this line.
Injectaclad is installed to create a continual cavity fire barrier between the inside face of the external masonry and the concrete floor slab.
If insulation runs in front of the floor slab this remains in place and only the void between the inside face of the external masonry and the insulation is filled.

Vertical Installation
Generally, the Injectaclad installation would be in line with the party wall, to create compartmentation along this line.
Injectaclad is installed to create a continual cavity fire barrier between the inside face of the external masonry and the party wall construction.
If insulation runs in front of the party wall this remains in place and only the void between the inside face of the external masonry and the insulation is filled.

Installation Around Openings
Injectaclad can be installed to create a cavity fire barrier around openings, such as existing windows and doors, without the need to remove and reinstall them.
When utilising Injectaclad to create a cavity fire barrier in such circumstances the existing opening is ‘picture framed’. Generally, horizontal installation takes place both above and below the opening before vertical installations take place either side of the opening, abutting to the previously installed horizontal lines of Injectaclad.
